Bathroom Mishaps!
No, I am not talking about number one and number two !
Being a health care professional and having always been somewhat sickly growing up, I have become the type of person who always wants to dig deep in finding valid reasons for anything and everything medical or not.
Answers like “familial” or “genetic” never did me justice in explaining the many medical problems I and many have to deal with as We enter a new century of an overwhelming amount of new medical diagnosis and terminology that simply didnt exist 30+ years ago.
Those who have read any of my articles sigh as I continue to hammer down on the lovely and amazing chemical over dependance our human kind believes is O.K.
Today I want you to mozy on into your Bathroom and pick up 4 things: the first will be your
favorite shampoo that you believe you cannot live without, second is your toothpaste, third; pick up your or your husband’s after shave and finally pick up your everday moisturizer or skin lotion.
Now, sit down and read the back labels of each looking for the following:
In your shampoo look for: Sodium Lauryl Sulphate,Sodium Lauryth Sulphate,Polyethelene Glycol, DEA (diethanolamine), TEA (Triethanolamine). In your toothpaste look for: Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Monofluorophosphate & Sodium Saccharin.
In the after shave look for: Isopropyl & Alcohol.
And in the moisturizer or lotion look for: Formaldehyde (Q15, Q30…etsc),Petrolatum,Alpha
Hydroxy Acid, Ethyl Paraben & fragrance.
If you have been unable to locate any of these chemicals in your toiletries then thumbs up for you! put this article away and continue on with what ever it is you were doing. However, if you have identified one or more of those names in your personal care products then a big red alarm should go off in your head right about NOW!
I will not go into the fine details of how each of the above chemicals and many more are contributing directly to many health problems you are currently experiencing and a lot more you will confront in the future. Instead I will leave it up to you to do your home work.
My job here is to make that alarm go off in your head as I point out that things like allergies, skin problems, asthma and respiratory problems, cancer, behavioral problems like ADD and ADHD, autism, autoimmune disorders, miscarries, headaches, fatigue…etc. are all either directly or indirectly related and aggrevated by the above mentioned chemicals and many more which I simply could not list without converting this into a chemistry lesson.
So to those of you who have converted a portion of their home to a pharmacy line they can’t
live without, you need to divert a whole lot of attention to the cause of your medical
complaints and save yourself some money and health.

How do i stop my two cats from using the bathroom on rugs…have cat door and no problem til moving 3 mo. ago?
Cats are 3 and 4 years old…. had cat door at previous home and no "mishaps" . Now I have had to throw out several rugs and mats. What is best way to "retrain" them to go outside?
Help!…..thanks!
sound like these are male cats and they will mark a new place. Put a litter box down until they get use to the move and confine them where the litter box is. Most cats do not do well at first with moving

They are not yet use to the new environment. What you may want to do is take them through the cat door several times so they get use to the door again (if you had one previously). Make sure to get a type of spray cleaner that helps eliminate any possible smell left by them. If they smell it, they will associate the floor with their toilet. Like I said, I believe they are just not yet adjusted (even though 3 months has passed) to their new environment. Hope this helps!!

i have this problem as well, but the difference is that i havn’t moved! my cats are just spiteful!! but i do have a male cat and if yours are male then what they are doing is most likly marking the territory. male cats are very territorial of their space.
what i would do is put up a litter box or 2 in the areas that they seem to be going to the bathroom most. if you don’t have a cat door now, i would def. get one and install it so that way they will learn to go outside again. they are learning the new area and need to adjust to the new place.
make sure that when you clean the carpet you get the smell out, i use either a water/vingar solution or depending on how stong the smell is i’ll just use the vinigar and no water. but before you use the vinigar i clean the carpet with soap and water or some sort or carpet cleaner, like resolve, wait 10 mins then use the vinigar. you just sorinkle it on the carpet and air dry it with a fan or something. cats will assiocate vinigar and something bad and will take the smell of urine out.
hope this helps!!!

I got 2 kitten about 2 months ago and all of a sudden they started to go behind the entertainment center, i was furious. So my bf and i decided to put aluminum foil back there covering the ground and they never went back there again. So try it, see what happens.

Try sprinkling a little bit of cat litter outside in the spot you want them to go and show them it. This should help. Good luck! ♥♥♥
