What lotion do you use when your child is really ashy ?

My son is half black so he has more of his dad’s skin type. Everytime after his bath I pratically use up half of the baby lotion and still his skin gets ashy the next 5 to 10 minutes or so. So i’m wondering what is a good baby lotion that you use that keeps their skin moisturized. I use Johnsons Cocoa butter & Shea, it works occasionally.

pure olive oil or eucerin lotion its for dry skin and dont let him stay in the tube longer then 5 mins dont rub him dry blot him dry

I dont think it has anything to do w/him being half black sorry lol, but I use the same lotion and my son is okay….My cousin uses Aveeno baby lotion for her baby, and they have a history of eczema and really dry skin…so maybe try that one.

My black friend said she uses Aveeno baby lotion on her daughter too. Her baby always looks moisturized.

I’ve used Aveeno baby lotion before too, and the texture of it is like no other.

Another good one that my sea scout leader to use a lot (salt water and handling wet rope really messes up your hands) was Nutrogena Norwegian Formula. It’s got a picture of a Norwegian flag on it.

Burt’s Bee’s Baby Bee Apricot Oil… I promise you will not regret it, my daughter has very dry skin and so do I, I use it on both of us and will never use anything else again.
