Why do women and girls think lotion is so important and use it everyday?
Like almost all women say you need to put lotion on your whole body every single day after a shower, to always stay moisturized. Apparently its an "essential"
But you notice about 95% of guys don’t use lotion on their whole body after showering or w/e, and their skin isn’t always dry. So Id say using lotion is more of a "girls" thing because almost all girls use it, and almost no guys use it? I’ve never used lotion and im a guy and my skin is fine.
so we have nice soft skin. and guys are supposed to be tough and rough so they dont need to, but you dont want a tough and rough girl right? exactly so we like to be baby smooth.
also, it smells nice and will protect our skin from aging in the future
only one element of the oh so complicated daily routine of a woman.
I put lotion on my body after every shower……and at random times when my hands feel dry….

listen up: i have to use lotion. HAVE to. and even with lotion, my skin is still f*cked up. research eczema. i get cuts all over my hands from cracked skin when i don’t put on lotion, it is painful to even move my fingers, and not to mention people stare. so yes lotion is important. and even if you don’t have a disease, lotion is still important. why? showers dry your skin out, if you don’t put on cream afterward your skin doesn’t lock in moisture.

I absolutely have no clue. I hate lotion, I try to use it once in a while but I end up washing it off because of the overwhelming smell and stickiness.
I don’t feel "rough" for not using it either, I don’t get why they need it.
