Why do women and girls think lotion is so important and use it everyday?
Like almost all women say you need to put lotion on your whole body every single day after a shower, to always stay moisturized. Apparently its an "essential"
But you notice about 95% of guys don’t use lotion on their whole body after showering or w/e, and their skin isn’t always dry. So Id say using lotion is more of a "girls" thing because almost all girls use it, and almost no guys use it? I’ve never used lotion and im a guy and my skin is fine.
Why is something so small bothering you?
A lot of girls like lotion. It smells nice and makes you feel nice. Is there a problem with that?
It makes your skin softer, and it is often scented. It is definitely more of a girl’s thing, because most women want soft skin, while guys are OK with their natural skin.

I use lotion every day. I have tons of it! I like my skin to be soft, and smell good. Guys aren’t suppose to have soft skin, so its not that big of a deal to them.

im a girl n i barely use lotion after every shower lol

i only use it when im out in the field. my hands always get chapped at work, to the point of bleeding. same with the men that i work with

so I think it depends more on how often your skin gets dry rather than a gender bias
