Do I need to have a skin care routine if I have perfect skin?
Ok so everyone says I have blessed skin, its normal and soft and I rarely break out! I can see a lot of the products are for acne skin but I dont have oily or acne prone skin. Should I still have a skin care routine and what products do you reccomend? Thanks
is daily facial scrub good?
yes of course! you need some kind of cleanser that rids of the daily wear and tear on your face! just because you don’t see it now doesn’t mean it won’t come later! I recommend mary kay products-if you are in your teens-about 20 you should use our velocity skincare line(cleanser and moisturizer), if you are in your 20’s you should definitely start preventing for the future lol. Our timewise skincare is the best because it suits your needs and there are two different lines for the timewise products-normal to dry & combination to oily! We have a 3in1 cleanser that NO ONE has which cleanses, exfoliates and freshens all in one! The Age-fighting moisturizer is an emollient-rich lotion which combines the action of 10 hours of hydration and a patented* complex to accelerate the skin’s natural renewal process, revealing firmer, smoother skin with fewer lines and wrinkles. Also there is a day solution with spf25 that helps prevent lines and discoloration before they occur by blocking damaging UVA/UVB rays . Plus, a calming peptide helps relax expression lines. The Night Solution is a unique delivery system of encapsulated vitamins and antioxidants combined with collagen-enhancing peptides help fade away deep lines and wrinkles. What are some good mens skin care tips?
Hi, there is not too much information out there about mens skin care tips that are not just product reviews. I am looking for a full system or method that will help me cure my acne or at least help my skin look alot better. Thanks.
Hi there. I agree that there are too many sites that just tell you which products to buy and don’t give you quality men’s skin care tips. I highly suggest the article in my source, it is all about inside out ways to get perfect skin for men. Men can have a more difficult time with skin care because of hormonal differences, but it’s not rocket science. Check it out.
What type of skin care products should I be using?
I just turned 27, and I want to prevent the wrinkles before they start. I’m totally clueless when it comes to skin care. What types of products should I be using and how often? Right now i just use basic face wash. I don’t need brand names, but if you have some to recommend that would be good too.
ARTISTRY has the best skin care products I’ve ever found…. Check them out at http://mrtester.ltdteam.com password beauty
Do you apply sunscreen before or after skin care?
I heard that you should apply Sunscreen with helioplex to bare skin, then put on other skin care products. But I have been prescribed an antibiotic lotion/gel for my acne. Will my antibiotic gel penetrate the sunscreen to help my acne, or will the helioplex not work when it doesn’t touch bare skin?
Can you use the antibiotic gel at night and use sunscreen during the day? I think that would be the best option. Otherwise I would put the antibiotic on first, give it a chance to dry a bit, then put on the sunscreen.
Some antibiotics can make your skin more prone to sun damage.
If you have concerns, you could always call your doctor or dermatologist.
What are some good skin care tips from the inside out?
Long story short: I looked in the mirror the other day and thought "Dad?". Yeah. I’m getting older.
I would love to hear some tips for skin care that’s ingested. Food, drink and supplements, etc.
One thing I don’t require is topical skin care tips. I have my lotion and sunblock that I apply daily. I’m good with that.
Take Cod Liver OIl Tablets & Vitamin E Tablets daily.
Eat lots of veggies and fruits for essential vitamins.
Drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice squeezed in it once a day to detox
No fizzy drinks/processed foods. Eat lots of fish & pulses like lentils.
Work out daily, even if its a walk or lifting some weights for a few mins.
Try making your own ’super juices’ with veggies and fruit juices mixed up. Try aloe vera juice shots.
Use natural products on your face such as sweet almond oil, or coconut oil. If youve got spots of blemishes use tea tree oil.
Drink green tea daily - as many cups as poss. (6cups per day is recommended).
what skin care products to use for a young aging face?
I will be 27 in March and I am beginning to notice changes on my face, such a wrinkles around my eyes….I need recommendations for skin care products, for normal skin, either to erase the wrinkles or to improve the appearance. I know there are a lot of products out there that claim to work but really dont. I just don’t want to waste a lot of money on bad products.
Coletta, all I can tell you is what has worked for me. I will say this, those $2.99 creams off the shelf of Walmart don’t work. I tried them literally all. They are just filler, fragrance, water, micro percentage if any of active ingredients (how else do you think they can sell creams at those prices?, nice & colorful packaging. About 3 years ago, started to use a brand that worked for me.
Preve extreme anti aging by Isabella Pelle. It’s made specifically for fine lines/wrinkles. It has the highest concentration of "peptides" active ingredients to fight them. Also has the highest concentration of the best known moisturizer, hyaluronic acid. This has kept my skin baby smooth.
Last month they came out with a more concentrated version of Preve called Cura. It’s everything Preve except they concentrated it to extreme. I got it 2 weeks ago; it’s excellent. What you need to do is decide which one is best for you. I recommend both.

oh btw; I’m 20 but in my opinion you are never too young to start protecting your skin from the ravages of time, sun, and lack of care.
What is a good skin care routine for a young teenager?
I’m 13 years old and I live in Australia. I have combination skin and get minor blackheads, whiteheads and blemishes around and on my nose. Sometimes I might get them on my chin or forehead. I need a good skin care routine that has three steps (cleanse, tone, moisturise) that is gentle and won’t burn or irritate my skin. Can you help? Please list names of products and brands. No homemade remedies or recipes, just products I can purchase at Coles or Priceline. Thanks.
kk, first of all i might mention that you really only need a toner if your skin needs an extra clean or is oily which you do but usually a cleanser does the job. I have the same skin as you and this is what i use: i have two cleansers, at night i use Benzac AC wash, at frst that will burn and make your skin peel but mine soon got used to so if you want stay away from it, its about $15 and you can get it at any chemist or priceline. The morning cleanser i use and i stand by it for our skin its Formula 10.0.6 cleanser and its so gentle and makes your skin less oily right away. i dont own a toner myself but id try formula 10.0.6 aswell for that. for my moisturiser im currently using cliniques stuff so its abit pricey but i used to use Olay Complete Defence Moisturiser, which is great for sensitive skin and if your just starting out plus it has spf.
Now the other stuff i use i swear has helped clear me up and its St Ives Blackhead and Blemish Control, it will help remove your blackheads, use it every three nights. Another i use after i use the blackhead control is a mudmask, i use Formula 10.0.6 mudmask in the orange container and im soon going to use the one in the green and its for oily skin, its so good and really removes imputities. i also use a spot treatment from formula 10.0.6
Just thought id mention Formla 10.0.6 is really cheap too and its good cause it works, its at priceline. ill get links up for all products ive mentioned.

How many people really pay attention to the ingredients in skin care/makeup products?
I’m very curious to know how many people really understand how important ingredients are in cosmetics and skin care. Everything we put on our bodies gets absorbed into the blood stream and cause illness/diseases/even cancers. We get what we pay for and this is not an area to look for cheap products. What do you think?
no one knows.

What are good ssential oils for skin care?
I’ve heard that when it comes to skin care, you need to use essential oils (not base oils). What’s the difference between the two? I’ve been using Jojoba oil but I think I want to switch it around a bit. What’s better for facial skin care, combination skin? There’s jojoba, almond, grape seed, tea tree, sunflower seed, coconut, etc.
Overall, the effects of essential oils may be divided into two basic groups. Some essential oils have actual physical effects. For example, eucalyptus oil can be inhaled to help clear sinuses and the respiratory tract. This would obviously relieve some symptoms of an upper respiratory infection (URI). Some oils may be used topically (directly on the skin, where they would usually be absorbed by the body, or on a wound) to possibly relieve swelling or fight certain infections.
You can read more about various oils here:

How much does a skin care specialist earn an hour and for their first year?
I want to study cosmetology, but I’m more interested in skin care. I know cosmetologists get paid like 6 an hour, but how much does a skin care specialist get paid??
An hourly rate completely depends on who you are working for and what the terms of your employment are. For example, if you rent your own space and are doing simple european facials, you can generally charge between $65 and $150 per hour depending on where you are located (nowhere, Virginia or New York City). If you own the space, this is all yours - do 4 a day and you have yourself a nice $100,000 per year job. If you enter into a "split" agreement with a spa or clinic owner, you may get a 50% split of whatever you do, so the same facial, you will get $35 to $75 for each treatment. The difference here is that you have no expenses or overhead to deal with.
Lastly, if you have specialty equipment like a LipoMax, or DermaPod machine, for example, you can charge a LOT more for each treatment - well into the hundreds. Also- you can set up repeat treatments to get a much higher average customer value.
